How It Works & Privacy Architecture
A client-side utility built for absolute financial privacy.
Zero Server Uploads • Total Privacy
Financial statements and demat accounts contain deeply sensitive personal identifiers, bank details, and investment portfolios. This utility is engineered with a strict zero-knowledge architecture:
- Runs 100% In Your Browser: All spreadsheet parsing, header alignment, unmerging, and CSV serialization occur entirely inside your browser's local memory (RAM).
- No Network Transmission: Your files and transaction records are never uploaded to any remote server or third-party service.
- Volatile Storage: Data exists only while the tab is open. Refreshing the browser instantly purges all parsed data from memory.
- Offline Capable (PWA): Once loaded, this web app functions completely offline without an active internet connection.
Extensible Parsing Engine
The parser automatically decodes the complex merged-cell layout of HDFC Demat reports:
- Locates the dynamic table header row regardless of pre-header statement metadata.
- Forward-fills merged ISIN identifiers across multi-row transaction blocks.
- Extracts Scrip names from header rows and associates them with corresponding trade rows.
- Normalizes dates and numbers to produce clean, spreadsheet-ready CSV exports.
